Engage in visionary thinking and transformative practices.
The PSU College of Education (COE), located in downtown Portland, is recognized as the largest, most innovative, and most diverse school of education in Oregon. Our professional staff and faculty foster equity, diversity, and inclusion in our four departments: Counselor Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Leadership and Policy, and Special Education. Our departments offer experiences for new and returning academics, as well as professionals seeking to expand their professional skills. We offer undergraduate opportunities, master’s degrees, a multidisciplinary doctoral degree, licensing programs, graduate certificates, and training programs.
The DICE PLUSS Grant is a scholarship for up to $30,000 in tuition support towards special education licensure. Undergraduate and graduate options available. The program has a strong interest in recruiting bilingual/bicultural candidates interested in working with culturally and linguistically diverse children with disabilities and their families in improving literacy outcomes.
Get ready to lead a class of students with creative, engaging teaching tools and techniques! Feel confident making strong decisions when it matters most and move leading-edge educational practices forward. Become a teacher who helps each student succeed on their unique terms.
The PSU Community Counseling Clinic provides low-cost individual, relationship, and family counseling, including services for children and adolescents. Sessions are by appointment only, day or evening. Our counselors are practicum students and interns supervised by licenced faculty.
